The Suburban Women Problem is ending

But Red Wine & Blue is here to stay!

In case you missed our announcement earlier in the month, we’re wrapping up The Suburban Women Problem podcast next week. It has been an absolute joy to share Rachel, Jasmine and Amanda’s conversations for five seasons. All week, we’ve been sharing some of our favorites on the podcast feed: Cecile Richards, Chasten Buttigieg, Mallory McMorrow, Angie Thomas, and Connie Schultz.

But the political situation—not to mention our mental health—is not the same as it was when we began the pod 4 years ago. We’re all stressed, confused, and burned out. So we wanted to provide some new podcast content to meet our listeners where they’re at.

The first mini-series we’re releasing will address the “confusion” part. Women have so many questions right now about wtf is going on… so in the spirit of answering those questions, we’ll present short shareable episodes called “Okay But Why.”

After that, we’ll be producing a show about political burnout. A lot of people are struggling with how to balance staying informed with staying sane right now, so we want to help our community figure out how to navigate that difficult terrain.

The most important thing we want to emphasize is this Substack isn’t going anywhere! We’ll be rebranding from “The Suburban Women Problem” to “Red Wine & Blue,” but if you’re already a subscriber, you’ll continue to get news updates, inspirational videos, and all of our other posts. No action needed from you! In fact, we’re hoping that unifying under the banner of RWB will help even more folks find this community.

Change is hard, but there are exciting things on the horizon and no lack of challenges to tackle. We’re so grateful to have this community on board for the adventure.
