✅ I tend to think of religion as another way to divide people and put them into boxes but her message reminded me of the core values I was taught at many a vacation Bible school and Sunday sermon. As an atheist I sometimes feel like I'm living the core human values like empathy and treating others with dignity better than some "Christians" today. This was a reminder that those people may be the (loud) minority.
Thank you Bishop Budde, your sermon, was an inspiration to all of us. Your words speak truth, honesty, respect and love for all man kind. I support you. ❤️❤️
I think you're overlooking crime data that consistently shows that US citizens are responsible for more crimes than undocumented immigrants. One study to reference is the National Institute of Justice funded study that examined data from the TX Department of Public Safety. The study found that undocumented immigrants are arrested at less than half the rate of native born citizens for violent and drug crimes and a quarter the rate of native born citizens for property crime. The sensationalized instances of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants are plucked from the media and amplified to push a false narrative.
Bishop Budde made me even more pleased to be an Episcopalian, and I loved her wise words!

LOL she wants mercy for illegal aliens, but makes no mention of Americans killed and raped by illegals.
