Always hate to be the first comment but this presentation spoke to me. I grew up as an Army dependent seeing a bit of the world (Germany twice, Kansas, Alaska - 1 year, California-1 year& Virginia (Newport News). My dad spent a few deployments where we had to go to live with mom’s sisters & brothers families for those times.

Anyway I knew there were things not covered by the military- my mom’s cancer at that time was sent to a private doctor- I was the first child after her cancer & before her hysterectomy and when I had issues starting at 15 with irregular & excessive periods the doctors couldn’t help. After my dad retired, I was over 21 & out of college. When my spouse & I discussed children we were told my ovaries were damaged & in vitro wasn’t covered by my State Health insurance. So getting insurance companies to step up would help many young couples who experience the issues I had. Too late for me but it should be available for couples who need it.

As for suburbia, I am watching that phenomenon happen in the neighborhood where we live now. We’re staying here but watching all taxes, school fees, etc… increase & our new neighbors are people who expected they could afford more. Also our top rated schools are slowly getting worse.

I really feel for new families trying to get started.
