While billionaires trade insults on social media like schoolyard children, our TroubleNation groups are out there making a difference for actual children in their communities.

Like The Write Stuff, a self-described group of "badass women” in Nebraska who are working to make sure that everyone in their community has access to books in school and public libraries. Some of their activities have included:

• Delivering gift baskets to public libraries along with handwritten, personalized thank you notes during National Library Week

• Hosting mixers for neighbors to meet them, learn about the work they’re doing, and meet local candidates running for office

• Helping others in their community to create book clubs, with new clubs receiving a "welcome to book clubbing" basket with books and wine
