We Ain't Buying It
Choosing democracy with our dollars
Did you know that women in the U.S. control 85% of consumer purchases? We decide what gets bought and what companies are worth giving our money to. That makes us one of the most powerful economic forces in this country.
So this Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday, we’re refusing to spend a dime at:
Target, because it caved to this administration’s attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion, cut support for Black-owned businesses, and pulled Pride products from shelves.
Home Depot, because it’s allowing ICE to operate on their properties, leading to our neighbors being illegally snatched from their stores.
And Amazon, because it maintains notoriously unsafe working conditions for employees, and CEO Jeff Bezos has donated over $1 million to this administration while benefiting from massive corporate tax cuts.
Look, we know how convenient it is to shop at these places. But there are also countless small businesses, including Black-owned and immigrant-owned makers, that genuinely care about the people who live in our communities. This holiday season, we’re planning to shop at those businesses instead.
The goal is for Amazon, Target and Home Depot to have a 5% reduction in their revenue during a season when they make 20% of their yearly sales. We’re showing what women have always known: when we work together, we’re powerful.
So from November 27th through December 1st, join us. Skip Target, Home Depot and Amazon and invest your holiday dollars back into the place you call home.

It's easier than you think.
Lots of alternatives and I have not missed them yet
I don’t shop these places anymore! So, I’m all in!
