Virginia Is for Voters
Red Wine & Blue hit the ground in Virginia to organize, connect, and gear up for a pivotal election year.
Virginia is one of only two states that have major statewide elections this November.
We're talking key electoral races, including governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and all 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates. That’s why Red Wine & Blue packed our bags and headed to Northern Virginia for Network Nova, a grassroots organizing summit filled with incredible women doing the work from all over the state!
Here at Red Wine & Blue, we focus on friend-to-friend organizing—talking to your friends, your family, your neighbors about the values and issues that matter to you.
So, Network Nova was the perfect place to connect with people and start having these critical conversations.
Our first day began with an amazing Red Wine & Blue–led panel featuring some Virginia TroubleNation leaders—our local advocacy groups, led by everyday women!
(P.S. The panel is up on YouTube if you want to watch!)
We then headed to the main ballroom for a Power-Up Community rally, where we had the opportunity to hear inspiring speeches from leaders throughout the state, including Senator Tim Kaine and Virginia's (hopefully) future governor, Abigail Spanberger.
Day two was all about storytelling.
We spent the day gathering stories of hope, action, and resilience, including those of military spouses, first-time voters, and mothers who rely on Medicaid for their children. To hear these stories, keep an eye out for them on Red Wine & Blue’s social media accounts!
This is a monumental year for Virginia, and these elections truly matter. So, if you're in Virginia, make sure you and your friends are registered to vote and ready to cast your ballots on Election Day, November 4th!
Remember, change starts locally.
Let's get to work.
I’ve got postcards and stamps to send out to Virginia voters!
