If you’re new to our Substack, you might not have heard about TroubleNation yet. It’s our national organizing program that is active in all 50 states, with 800 groups! That means no matter where you live, there is probably a group close to you.
Across the country our TroubleNation groups are buzzing with energy during this tumultuous time in our nation. They are standing up and taking action in a number of ways. Each Tuesday we like to highlight some of the work our groups are doing, but today we just want to share a little more information about TroubleNation.
Red Wine & Blue launched TroubleNation in September 2023 in response to the increasing demand for local organizing support among women who felt disconnected and alone. And unfortunately, even more Americans are feeling disconnected right now. But how does TroubleNation help that? TroubleNation is a network of independent local groups across the country that are affiliated with and supported by RWB. By joining an existing TroubleNation group, you are immediately surrounded with like-minded people, who are ready to take action in your local community. TroubleNation groups host social get togethers, trainings, and opportunities to take action locally. And you can participate in whatever level feels right for you.
So how do you get involved? You can search for a local TroubleNation group by entering your zip code here. And if you don’t find a group that’s right for you, you can get help starting your own group. TroubleNation is a full service, organizing support system that provides one-on-one coaching, new group orientation, small-group, customized training for group leaders, monthly happy hours, and continuous engagement from the Red Wine & Blue team.
So what are you waiting for? It’s time for you to join the movement and find your local TroubleNation group.
YES! I’ve read about this offer to start a local group and I do want to find out more. I live in a red state and a very conservative location south of Salt Lake City. Recently moved here to be closer to family, am an 80 year old crone that has not acquired any friends and thus hesitant to “ reach out,” especially since my family does not support my resistance activism. Open to encouragement! 🇺🇸
We are interested in starting one in Buffalo NY can you direct me to whom I should speak with please!
