They Went Low, So We Went Local
What really happened in the most heated 2025 school board races?
New analysis from Red Wine & Blue, a community of over 600,000 suburban women, shows that the suburban backlash to extremism extended to school boards across key states.
Four years after Moms for Liberty launched a culture war movement, ushering in school board extremists that wreaked havoc across America, voters resoundingly sent them packing!
After tireless organizing in 239 hard-fought school board races, Red Wine & Blue-backed candidates blocked 62% of extremists, with 170 out of 239 common-sense candidates winning seats.
This includes 32 Red Wine & Blue members who ran for office!
Katie Paris, the founder of Red Wine & Blue, described the win by saying, “For too long, the D.C. political machine has ignored hyperlocal races, like school board. Red Wine & Blue members know the power they have when they show up in these elections — and they showed up in full force on Tuesday.”
These wins are powered by women organizing together across the country — including the 800+ groups in Red Wine & Blue’s TroubleNation!
