Stop MAGA from Taking Away Our Vote
Tell Congress to Vote 'No' on the SAVE Act!
We first heard about the SAVE Act last year, when MAGA extremists introduced the bill to make voting harder for everyone.
Red Wine & Blue blocked it the first time, but now it’s back and worse than ever.
While we have been (rightfully) focused on stopping ICE, Republican voters were flooding Congress with calls to revive the SAVE Act. And now Congress is voting on a new version — the “Save America Act.” The bill would require everyone to show proof of citizenship — a passport or a birth certificate that matches their current last name — to register to vote, or update their voter registration.
Considering that 21 million American citizens don’t have immediate access to a passport or their original birth certificate, the SAVE Act is incredibly dangerous to our right to be heard at the ballot box.
Hmmmm, wonder why MAGA doesn’t want people to vote? Maybe because they know we’ll vote them out of office?
But the good news is, MAGA can’t pass this bill alone.
What You Can Do To Stop the SAVE Act
Spread the word. Share information about the SAVE Act with your community. Talk to your friends and family, and share on social media. Awareness is the first step to stopping this bill.
Engage with your community. Join local groups, events, or campaigns to oppose the SAVE Act.
Contact your representatives. Call your representatives and senators to voice your opposition. We can stop it if we tell Congress to vote ‘NO’ on the SAVE Act.
