Celebrating Women Who Are Doing The Work
Welcome to the 2025 Troubbie Awards!
Suburban women were pissed and ready to take action in 2025, and nowhere did we see that more than in the explosive growth of TroubleNation. Our groups worked hard all year — they held 3,653 events, each one more creative than the last.
It’s officially “awards season,” with shows like the Oscars, the Emmys, and the Grammys all happening in the next several weeks. So, we decided it’s time to honor the women who spent the year doing amazing work in their local communities. It's time to put the unsung heroes in the spotlight!

These women are doing the real work of democracy in their communities every day. If you want to be inspired, if you want to spend a night surrounded by amazing people who’ve been doing amazing things, then join us for Red Wine & Blue’s first-ever Troubbies awards!
We’ll be highlighting the joy, creativity, and all-around badassery that people just like you have displayed this past year. We hope you’ll join us for our live virtual awards show on February 5th at 7 pm ET.
2026 is going to be a critical year, and we need everybody inspired and ready to act. The Troubbies are a great way to see what's possible and to get ready for the year ahead. You can RSVP here!

Absolutley love the framing of community organizing as something worthy of awards-show celebration. The 3,653 events figure really underscores how democracy isn't just big national moments but thousands of small gatherings that most people never hear about. I remember feeling pretty isolated trying to mobilzie neighbors for local issues before I knew others were doing it too. Recognition like this creates proof that sustained grassroots work matters.
